Panaz presenting Alusid Silicastone at Surface Design Show 2018
Global supplier of contract fabrics and wallcoverings Panaz will be presenting SilicaStone, the sustainable architectural stone alternative, at the Surface Design Show this February.
Designed and developed by Preston-based Alusid, Silicastone is an eco-architectural material made from 100% recycled post-consumer glass and pre-consumer vitrified ceramic that has marked a paradigm shift in sustainable architectural surfaces. Its production process allows for material to be created without the use of chemicals or resin binders making it fire and heat resistant as well as recyclable at the end of its life cycle.
Manufactured in England, Silicastone can be used for interiors and exteriors applications including Interior and exterior wall tiles, floor tiles, furniture, table tops or as solid surfaces and is available in a range of stock designs and many bespoke possibilities.
